Conferences

Since 2022, the Armenian Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons has held its annual international ophthalmology conference at the end of March in Yerevan. The conference is attended by both Armenian ophthalmologists and our international colleagues.

During the conference, the Society’s annual activities are summarized, and renowned ophthalmologists deliver scientific presentations. 

The conferences are highly interactive, offering a broad platform for knowledge exchange among ophthalmologist colleagues.

International Relations

ArSCRS, valuing partnerships with international organizations, opens up broad opportunities for its members to establish new professional connections and engage in knowledge exchange. We strive to leverage collective experience and resources to advance the field of cataract and refractive surgery in Armenia and beyond.

Education

The Armenian Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons values the culture of continuous education. Among our ongoing educational initiatives is the “Ophthalmologists’ Club,” which provides an opportunity for members of the Society to participate.

During the club meetings, comprehensive reports are presented, featuring the latest advancements in ophthalmology, and there are practical exchanges of experience. 

The program is officially endorsed by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia, and participants are awarded both theoretical and practical Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits.
