The goals defined in our charter are as follows:
- To unite Armenian ophthalmologists and advance the field of ophthalmology in Armenia.
- To support the educational process of ophthalmologists who are members of the Society, facilitating continuous medical education and the acquisition of professional skills and experience, both in Armenia and abroad.
- To promote the establishment of medical commissions and assist in the oversight and management of disputed medical cases and situations.
- To support the development of medical guidelines and the updating of existing guidelines, aligning them with international practices and standards, thereby contributing to the improvement of the quality of healthcare services while ensuring the safe and protected practice of ophthalmologists.
- To organize international and domestic conferences, fostering the exchange of experiences between ophthalmologists from different regions and foreign colleagues.
- To support the development of ophthalmic tourism in Armenia.
- To advocate for the rights and legal interests of the members of the organization.
- To contribute to the development of legal acts and drafts in the field of ophthalmology.
- To establish partnerships and exchange experiences with international healthcare systems, organizations, and companies.
- To develop charitable programs.
- To expand scientific and medical research activities, involving young physician-scientists in these endeavors.
