The first international conference of the Armenian Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ArSCRS) was held in Yerevan. The founder and president of the organization is Dr. Vahe Nanyan, an ophthalmologist and micro-surgeon, and the head of the SLAVMED Eye Micro-surgery Center.
The mission of the ArSCRS is to unite Armenian ophthalmologists, ensuring their continuous education and providing opportunities to gain professional skills and experience both in Armenia and abroad. The organization also aims to develop protocols and various processes that will contribute to the advancement of ophthalmology in Armenia.
The conference was organized through the efforts of the Armenian Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ArSCRS). Such professional events will continue in the future.
