On March 22-23, 2024, the Second International Conference of ArSCRS was held at the M. Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuscripts (Matenadaran) in Yerevan, bringing together ophthalmologists from Armenia and abroad. Participants were awarded 16 theoretical credits.
This year, the Armenian Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons highlighted the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration between ophthalmologists and specialists from related fields, also addressing issues related to medical malpractice insurance.
The professional program consisted of sessions on cataract surgery, corneal and optometric advancements, and vitreoretinal topics.
We were delighted to welcome our international colleagues from various corners of the world. Special guests included members of the ESCRS committee, Marie-José Tassignon and Marc Wewill, who graciously accepted our invitation and traveled to Armenia.
